Richard Blower

Trainer/Assessor

Richard Blower

Richard comes from a catering and hospitality background. After gaining extensive knowledge and skills within this sector he naturally progressed into training and development enabling him to support others and enhance progression in their personal careers. His previous role was delivering training to company employees and NVQ qualifications within the prison service nation wide. He has worked in a variety of sectors and has a clear understanding of the importance of achieving customer’s expectations.

Richard is an experienced and skilled trainer, Assessor and Internal Verifier and has experience of managing an NVQ centre to QCA and Awarding Body standards. Richard is an excellent communicator who believes in supporting and encouraging his learners to achieve their goals.

He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). 



Neil Burridge

Neil Burridge

Neil’s background is military, retail and custodial care where he gained his extensive knowledge and skills in relation to training and development. He then progressed into a trainer/assessor and internal verifier role. Neil then became the Lead Internal verifier for a successful training provider and at this time he also enhanced his qualifications and interest in the world of health and safety.

Supporting and guiding learners is Neil’s most fulfilling aspect of his current role, he gains immense pride and satisfaction when learners succeed. Neil is a skilled, experienced and highly competent trainer, assessor and internal verifier who thrives on challenge. Neil at all times aims to fulfil awarding body requirements along with that of the QCA. Neil is a member of the Institute for learning.



Nalda Ferguson

Nalda Ferguson

Nalda has a wide range of experience, and knowledge of training, assessing and internal verifying.

Originally coming from a Veterinary Nursing background, which fired her enthusiasm for training and assessing.

Having reached management level in Veterinary centres for a large Veterinary charity, she then began to develop her passion for training – lecturing in Veterinary Nursing for a private training provider, whilst gaining her Certificate in Teaching.

She then progressed to lecturing, assessing and internal verifying for agricultural colleges, whilst gaining her V1 award.

She has worked alongside both school leavers and adults within colleges and work based learning, possessing excellent communication skills at all levels.

More recently working for a large Policing organisation undertaking training/ assessment and internal verification.

She is passionate about people achieving their goals, not only in regards qualifications, but also reaching their potential in the workplace.

Being an enthusiastic trainer and assessor her aim to make the NVQ journey a valuable and rewarding one.

Nicola Grant

Nicola Grant

A qualified FE Lecturer Nicola comes from an Administration/Finance background. During her 9 years in FE she has gained an extensive knowledge of National Vocational Qualifications along with a varied range of experiences, having worked with both teenagers and adults, within schools, colleges and in the workplace. Additionally Nicola has gained experience as a mentor working alongside a charity to help homeless people back to independent living. As a part of her job role she has written, planned and delivered a range of courses within a variety of settings and situations.

Nicola is an experienced and enthusiastic trainer, assessor and internal verifier who prior to joining ENTO Direct was involved in both the delivery and internal verification of the A and V awards.

Nicola is a member of the Institute of Further Learning. 



Kathy Hollingworth

Kathy Hollingworth

Kathy comes from a military background having joined the Armed Forces at 21 and served over 8 years both in the UK and overseas. After leaving the Armed Forces Kathy made a career change selecting the field of learning and development, utilising all her training and experience from the services. Kathy went on to gain learning and development qualifications and subsequently worked and supported the Military in developing NVQ assessment and verification centres across all locations in a variety of roles, including developing training courses and materials, mapping exercises and other centre approval requirements.

Kathy is a skilled, experienced and highly competent trainer, Assessor and Internal Verifier, possessing excellent interpersonal skills, dedicated to developing and maintaining QCA requirements. Able to communicate and teach effectively at all levels, while exercising tact and diplomacy, Kathy is enthusiastic in her approach and willing to take on a challenge. 



Clive Hyland

Clive Hyland

Clive has extensive experience of leading and managing people gained across a 30 year business career, starting in HR and culminating in the role of CEO of a major organisation. Over recent years, he has focused exclusively on coaching. This has been primarily with people in business, but also in professional sport, including football and golf. Clive is a leading coach of Coaching UK.



David Morgan

David Morgan

Director of Marketing & Communications, ENTO. David is an experienced training professional primarily in the delivery of Government funded work based learning having spent 10 years working in the training delivery sector as a direct trainer, Personnel Manager and the senior manager for Wales and the Thames Valley.

He has considerable experience of strategic development, project management, business development and quality assurance in work based learning and related care and social issues. An experienced and highly competent conference and seminar speaker on all issues relating to work based learning, assessment and verification, basic skills, and social inclusion issues, David is responsible for development, dissemination and delivery of the strategy and objectives relating to marketing and communications.



Jan Nelson

Trainer

Jan Nelson is a freelance consultant specialising in the development and training of Trainers, Assessors and IV's. She works within work-based learning, developing quality assurance to evaluate and enhance provision. Jan has previously worked as a college lecturer, a Quality Manager for a national training organisation, where she was worked on standards committees, ALI Inspections and Success for all.

She has also worked as a Staff Development/ Key Skills Manager. Jan works as part of the product development team for ENTO and is recognised for developing and writing learning support materials for City and Guilds and Learning for Work. Jan is an experienced practitioner and has worked with NVQs and as an External Verifier for City and Guilds for many years.



Colette O'Hagan-Ellis

Trainer

Colette O'Hagan-Ellis

Colette is a qualified assessor and internal verifier with 15 years experience of working with learners achieving vocational qualifications. She was instrumental in the setting up the first NVQ Advice and Guidance Centre in the country. She has been involved in the promotion, design, delivery, assessment and verification of a wide range of accredited and non-accredited qualifications including Advice & Guidance, Learning & Development, Management, Learning and Development and Support Service (LDSS) Customer Service and Business Administration. 

Colette has extensive experience of delivering on government-funded contracts including ETP and T2G. She was heavily involved in the delivery, assessment and verification of Modern Apprenticeship programmes and more recently the delivery of the Professional Apprenticeship Programme including Basic Skills and Key Skills.

Colette has worked with managers and practitioners with a background in support for children and young people, as well as in adult guidance, including organisations such as Connexions, Sure Start, Family Information Service and Youth Service. Colette has also worked with the Education Welfare service, Learning Mentors, Learndirect, as well as probation officers, voluntary and community organisations, and faith organisations.

Colette holds the DipRSA in Advice and Guidance, DipRSA in Learning and Development and is currently working towards NVQ Level 4 Management.

Colette’s pre-NVQ background was within the manufacturing industry, working at an executive level as a Personal Assistant, with involvement in recruitment, redundancy, other HR issues and with strong planning and organisational responsibilities.



Catherine Parker

Trainer

Catherine is a freelance training consultant, her background is in the training of trainers, and quality assurance of delivery.  She has a broad experience within this field mainly within the context of Policing.  Catherine is also an Assessor and has extensive experience as a lead Internal Verifier, and is also a part time University lecturer.  She is qualified in the use of psychometrics within training, and she is heavily committed to all areas of personal and professional development.  Currently she is undertaking research relating to learning styles and career progression.  She is a member of the IfL, and the Chartered Management Institute.



Michele Parker

Michele Parker

Michele comes from a Management/Administrative background. Having worked in the Further Education sector for 16 years, Michele has an extensive knowledge of National Vocational Qualifications and Modern Apprenticeship Frameworks.

Michele co-ordinataed in-company work-based programmes for a number of FE colleges in a variety of occupational areas and has worked with employers in the development of their APL systems and procedures and internal verification policies and processes.

Michele is a competent and experienced trainer, assessor and internal verifier who, prior to joining ENTO Direct, was been involved in both the delivery and internal verification of the assessor and internal verifier awards. 



Don Pennell

Trainer/Assessor

Don Pennell

Don's skills and experience as an effective trainer, assessor and verifier were developed during 30 years within the Police Force. He progressed through the Constabulary, gaining knowledge and experience in a range of disciplines including time served as Lead Intelligence Officer.

His interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for motivating others led him naturally towards training and development. He has developed and delivered a wide variety of programmes including Equality and Diversity, Leadership Development, and Trainer-Training.

His breadth of experience gives Don the ability to understand the strategic aspects of training and development. This insight, along with his high quality delivery, led him to be selected to devise and implement area-wide Police assessment and verification strategies. He proactively managed and trained a team of 40 Constabulary assessors and internal verifiers, receiving Awarding Body recognition for ensuring consistently high standards of practice and continued professional development.

He is a self-motivated individual with strong training, development, coaching and mentoring skills. He enthuses and supports others to achieve and maintain high standards within deadlines. He is passionate about transformational management and constantly strives to enable others to be the best they can be.



Martin Rodwell

Martin Rodwell

Martin has a wealth of experience from working in the automotive retail management industry gaining extensive knowledge and skill for both the public and private sector.

He has a passionate desire to motivate and encourage people to achieve their educational potential, so he naturally progressed into training and development. He joined ENTO Direct after 7 years, being with one of the UK's largest leading training providers.

He has trained a complete range of manufacturer development programmes for global automotive clients, helping them to maximise productivity in their workforce.

Martin is an experienced and skilled trainer, and has gained extensive knowledge of National Vocational Qualifications and Modern Apprenticeship Frameworks. He also has an adult teacher's qualification and is an experienced Assessor and Internal Verifier.

In additional to these credentials he is a member of the (IMI) Institute of the Motor Industry, The Institute of Further Learning and the Learning Network. 



Sue Sealy

Trainer

Sue is a qualified Assessor, Internal and External Verifier with nearly 15 years experience of working with learners achieving vocational qualifications. Her background was in Retail Management but the advent of her family changed her career path to that of Company Secretary in a family business which honed skills in administration, book-keeping and pay role systems.

Whilst undertaking teacher training in an FE College during 1994, Sue was involved in the assessment of students working towards qualifications on a Vocational Access course - which lit the flame of a passion that burns even today for NVQs and necessitated her achievement of the Assessor award. Her first position as a qualified assessor soon found her teaching the assessment process to others, achieving internal verifier and quality auditor status then subsequently at the suggestion of the Centre EV, undertook training to become an EV in 1999 for a range of occupational areas that include Customer Service, Retail, Business & Administration, Management, Key skills and Training and Development.

Between her extensive freelance work, all within training and assessment, Sue works part-time for a major FE College where she co-ordinates their Assessor & Verifier training courses supported by on-line resources that she has written.



Michelle Taylor

Michelle Taylor

Michelle joined ENTO Direct after 9 years with a National Training Provider where she held the role of Quality Assurance and Staff Development Manager with over 1500 learners undertaking learning programmes.

Michelle is a competent and highly experienced Assessor and Internal Verifier and is responsible for the quality assurance systems within ENTO Direct, including the development and support of the Assessment and Verification Team as well as managing the relationship with our Awarding Bodies and maintaining our accreditation. Michelle is an excellent communicator, articulate with the ability to deliver in defined timescales and to a high quality.

Part of her role is to work with our internal team and external practitioners on the development of new and innovative learning programmes, developing materials and resources and quality assuring procedures and processes before delivery. Evaluation is an important aspect of our delivery process and Michelle takes responsibility for ensuring this is conducted, reviewed and evaluated, ensuring that any actions that fall out of this are addressed and implemented in a timely manner.

Michelle is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).



Sarah Wilson

Trainer

Sarah Wilson's current employment is with a large, general FE college, where she has responsibility for the management and delivery of the Training and Development provision. In addition to the training of staff within the college this involves developing links with local employers and providing them with training and support.

Previous to this, Sarah's experience involved teaching and training across a range of curriculum areas including Key Skills and Teacher Training, and employment within the HR department of a leading high street store.

Having previously worked as a Customer Service Manager, PA to Director and Credit Control Manager, Jodie has a wide range of experience of which she draws from in order to ensure her team drive sales forward and aid the smooth running & administration.

Jodie has designed and implemented time saving processes that enable her and others to do their jobs more efficiently. Liaising regularly with Clients and Candidates to constantly improve the service provided by the company.

Jodie’s role involves organising events, liaising with Trainers, Assessors and Learners on a daily basis and providing support to the team.



Luke Davies

On completion of his Business Marketing degree in 2002., Luke lived in America for several years before moving to Cardiff and working in the Finance Industry. Joining ENTO as Sales and Marketing Co-ordinator in February this year, his Sales and Customer Service Luke allows him to focus on web based sales and solutions and specialises on our Continuous Professional development events.



Rosalyn Lovatt

Rosalyn joined ENTO Direct as Team Support Coordinator after spending 4 years in Recruitment where she gained valuable experience. Rosalyn has extensive knowledge and experience of working with assessment centres. Working closely with our customers and over 2,000 Learners she has designed and implemented time saving processes that provide a positive Learner experience allow everybody to do their jobs more efficiently.



Mat Strong

After joining ENTO in 2007 Mathew has gained an in-depth understanding of the Assessment sector and has been able to successfully find cost effective solutions for many of our key customers. Mat is graduate of Glamorgan University during his time with ENTO and ENTO Direct has work as the National Account executive and Sales and Telemarketing coordinator. Mat specialises in Assessor and Verification Awards and Qualifications.

 



Amy Sullivan

Amy Sullivan

After completing a (BA Hons) Degree in Events Management, Amy brings a very strong background in Commercial sales to the team as a Sales and Telemarketing Coordinator. Since joining the team, She has developed her knowledge of the sector and continues to build strong relationships with many of our corporate customers specialising in the ‘The Learning Network’ and helping them find the right solutions across all ENTO and ENTO Direct services & products.



Zoe Witchard

Zoe Witchard

Zoe comes from a Health and Fitness background, where she worked for 4 ½ years. Since joining ENTO Zoe has taken on the role of Junior Administrator, providing cover for the rest of the team and all the Sales Administration, using her excellent communications skills she is the first point of contact for customer queries and questions.
